No more dry pork? Yay!
The FDA revised their guidelines for cooking pork to say that 145F (medium) is safe and acceptable practice. Personally as a fan of perfectly cooked, medium pork this is a great day. I love a little pink in my chops!
yes, i was thrilled to see this. like you, i've always cooked mine on the rarer side (and no one has ever gotten sick!) but it's nice to know i won't hear any more complaints from the food police :)
