Need source for chipotle peppers to use in recipe

I most of you on this board will find it hard to believe, but we need to find a source of canned or jarred chipotle peppers to use in a recipe. Can we found in Publix is so large, and we need so little. Also, what recipes are improved by this pepper? thanks

I've frozen them (usually individually-wrapped) with great success, but any Mexican market should have cans of chipotles in adobo in several sizes -- mine down the street has probably half a dozen varieties.

They're fabulous in beans and chili, great used as a rub for grilled/bbq meats. Caveat emptor -- some brands are absolutely searingly hot, so taste-test before you put a whole chile into a recipe!

Check a Mexican market in your area. They will have at least two sizes of cans and at least two brands to choose from. Typically they come in 7 oz and 12 oz cans. Even if you picked up the one at Publix, they keep a long time if stored in a covered jar in the fridge and the cost is pretty low

Could you use dried chipotles from Penzeys? You can order them online. I have no problem finding them in any market. How about driving to a neighborhood with bodegas?

They keep well so a large can is fine. You can freeze them if you want.
