Going to see a concert in Santa Barbara tomorrow night at the Lobero Theater. Very bummed that Julienne is closed on Tuesdays. What would be a good place grab a nice dinner in the area?

Thanks in advance!

Pity. Petit Valentien is a couple of blocks away, one of our favorites. It may be less crowded than Wine Cask before the show. Enjoy Ricky Lee (and my husband's lighting)!

Petit Valentin is a good choice. I hope this works.

Another one is Zaytoon which is a few blocks away the other direction from the Lobero heading East on Canon Perdido -- Middle Eastern food, quite nice, particularly if the evening is warm enough to enjoy their outdoor setting. SeaGrass is also within walking distance for a bit more upscale and new management hopefully has put it back on track.

I have not been their myself, but there have been some good reports about the new chef at the venerable El Paseo restaurant, next to the Wine Cask in the same wonderful historic complex of builidings. "Mexican" ,food but with generous margaritas if you are in the mood.

A few blocks north at East Victoria is Ca Dario (N. Italian) up from the Lobero on Anacapa Street.

Recent reviews for Seagrass look promising - about 2 blocks away:
