Any way to make stale rice krispies crispy again?

I live in a place where only generic puffed rice cereal is available, and it is often stale before you even open the package. Recently I acquired some marshmallows and am jonesing for some rice krispie treats. But I do not want to waste my precious marshmallows if the treats are just going to taste stale. Any ideas on how to re-crisp stale cereal?

You can nuke cereals, stale chips, etc for a few minutes. They will seem soggy at first but when cool they will be crisp. nuking takes out the water, Put chips on paper towel as some the oil will bleed out (a perk), Cereals in bowl need to be stirred. Watch carefully for all can scorch quickly.
I have had blue chips, bought at a Mexican store, by the sack, for 6 months and nuked them fresh again!

A dehydrator works well, but an oven with a pilot or a setting below 200 works well too. Just remember to keep an eye on them, so you don't toast them if you use the oven.

Do you have access to an oven? If so, try toasting them in an oven for a few minutes. I do not suggest a microwave because they may get soggier.
