Looking for good breakfast or bagel place near 34th St & 8th

Something good and a few minutes' walk from the area of the New Yorker hotel. Thanks!

    The Corner Cafe @ 24th and 6th Avenue - my vote for one of the city's best, house-made bagels. Enjoy!

      A short walk away is one of the best breakfast places in town -- the Breslin, at 29th and Broadway, if you have the time.

        Bagel Maven on 7th Ave. and 30th St. is pretty good. That was my regular morning bagel and coffee place when I used to work around there. They have tables and you can order breakfast eggs, etc. but their bagel sandwiches are pretty good.
