Bakerbots - Amazing bakery in Bloorcourt

Bakerbots finally opened a few weeks back - thank goodness! The bakery carries an assortment of cookies, each better than the last. All have a crisp, chewy consistency that I, an avid homebaker, have been unable to perfect at home. In fact, my S.O. has given up asking me to bake him cookies and just heads to Bakerbots instead. I particularly like the blueberry and cream cookie, while my S.O. loves the Everything, which I hear has chips, peanuts, chocolate and a bunch of other stuff.

Bakerbots also makes some of the best macarons I've had in Toronto. Like the cookies, these macarons are both crips and chewy. The flavours change regularly, but I have particularly enjoyed the mojito, the vanilla, and the pistachio flavours.

Bakerbots also sells cake. I've tried a few as I have chosen Bakerbots to do my wedding cake, and all of the flavours have been delicious so far, making it very difficult to choose just one (so I chose three).

Bakerbots also sells Ed's Ice Cream (try it in a homemade ice cream sandwich between two freshly baked cookies - heaven!) and Pain Perdu baguettes and croissants.

Agree this place is amazing - although I find the chocolate cupcakes are much better than the red velvet.

Man - I *LOVE* this place. Yes, the ice cream sandwiches are divine (and I don't even like ice-cream really). I loved walking out in the hot summer with a half sandwich (Raspberry (dairy-free) mixed with Sweet Cream on an Everything cookie. Da BOMB) in a race against time not to drip it all over myself.

However, I've really found the cakes, pies, scones and macarons to be my thing. The red velvet cupcakes aren't garishly-red and fake tasting, but rather just right. And the lemon scone might very well be my favourite scone ever. But her pies? They are something to write home about. Creative (pine nut tarts anyone?), interesting and even plain old apple is pie perfection.

I'm a little too fond of this place, and I'm afraid my waistline is going to demonstrate that soon...

Yea her shop really is a rare gem. Everything made from scratch in small batches with the best ingredients. You can see everything in front of you. I've never had anything bad there.

205 Delaware, a stone's throw north of Bloor. It is immediately next to the Delaware exit of the Ossington subway station.

Just spotted this place last night coming out of the Ossington station. I walk by it a few times a week and hadn't noticed. I will definitely be checking it out.
