Food and Wine Pairing Ideas for Grilled Salmon with Pineapple, Mango Salsa


I'm hosting my Supper club and I am going to Grill Salmon and serve it with a Pineapple, Mango Salsa, and the salmon will be plated atop a little Arugula. I need to come up with a side dish that goes with this. Any thoughts on something that may be done ahead, and not on the grill (as the grill will be taken up by the Salmon.) Another person is bringing a Cous Cous salad "with a twist".

  1. This is bound to be moved to Home Cooking but in the mean time...

    I had gorgeous poached salmon at a party last night, served with a salad of raw/blanched kale with cooked soybeans. I don't even like kale much ordinarily, but it was a perfect counterpoint to the salmon both visually and in terms of taste. Barely cooked spinach would work too.

    1. I don't know where you live, but it's asparagus season here. How about some simple roasted asparagus?
