DR. HOGLY WOGLY FAVS

Just landed a job within five minutes of this place. I know it's respected by CH-ers so I'd really appreciate hearing what some of your favorite menu items are.

It's been about a year since my last visit, but I really like the brisket, beans and macaroni salad.

Beef ribs, beef ribs, beef ribs. The best in town (not every single time, but most times). And the best item on their menu by far.

Thanks everyone. I think I'll start with the brisket and the links and then then just work my way through the menu.

I always get the 3 way: Beef ribs, spare ribs and chichen. They have the biggest chickens I've ever seen!! My wife likes the brisket so she always orders it. With the 3 way you'll have more than enough to take home for another meal. We went all the time when we lived in Sherman Oaks but now in the Conjeo Valley we don't get there very much at all and sometimes I'm just jonesing for it but it's too darn far to go for a meal. Lucky you!!!

I was there recently after a long absence due to the distance. I noticed very little change since I was there last.It was as just good as always both for food quality and service. We had beef ribs, sliced pork and brisket. I would particularly recommend the brisket. I also liked all the sides but my dining partner didn't care for the baked beans. They have mashed yams mixed into them and she didn't like that.

I always get the beef ribs there but with all of the people raving about the briskit I guess that I will have to try it next time. I just had the moist brisket at Smoke City and I think that it is very good although I am not a fan of the sides there. At Hogly Wogly I love the beans and usually get a double order as my sides.

We always get the brisket and spare ribs (yes we think they are excellent).

Our favorite bbq place hands down and we've been all over the world. Just eat and enjoy and don't get caught up in all the venom. Why people have to think they are right about something that is totally subjective is beyond me..

The brisket is very good, and they have the best hot links ever!

The sandwiches are decent (brisket, pork). The baked beans are way too sweet for my taste.

Still with the beef; ribs & brisket. Pork spare ribs are pretty bad.

IIRC, other things were bad, also. It was too many years ago to remember specifics
