Looking for restaurant ideas near Eaton Centre, with a few restrictions...

I'm taking my mom to the Eaton Centre to do some shopping and we're looking for somewhere to have dinner. We need a restaurant that accommodates food allergies, which we know is much easier at higher end restaurant. I'll call the restaurant anyway, but I do know that many fast food places or very ethnic places are less accommodating (the latter due to language barriers). I'm also a vegan (she is not).

She is in a wheelchair so I also need a place that is wheelchair accessible, and close by. I don't mind pushing her, but if it is raining we aren't going to want to go very far.

So... a place near the Eaton Centre that
- accommodates food allergies (I can call in advance, but
- has at least one vegan option other than salad
- is wheel-chair friendly
- is close by or can be walked to via the PATH since it's been raining so often

If you have any input I would really appreciate it!

turf lounge, south of richmond st on the west side of bay.
not much vegan or vegetarian posted but with notice the chef will accomadate.

They just opened a Mercatto in the Eaton's centre. I believe it is accessible and there should be at least one vegan pasta as well as some smaller dishes that you could have.

Thanks for the reply. I checked out the website and will give them a call to see. The menu online doesn't look too promising, but might be okay. I will definitely take plenty more suggestions!

Salad King is right by the Eaton Centre, wheelchair friendly, vegan friendly, and allergy accommodating. It's not high end, but could work for you and your mum. This is their menu: http://www.saladking.com/SaladKing-20...

I think there is fish sauce in most dishes at Salad King. I would call to ask.
