  1. Oliver & Bonnacinni (O&B) right at Front & Yonge is quite good for a mid price as is Biff's just down the street

      I haven't tried that O&B location but I second Biff's.

    2. 3rd Biff's. Solid option for bistro.

Swish by Han for a contemporary take on Korean.

Wine Bar. Decent & quick option for a pre-theatre meal.

Carisma for upscale Italian. Haven't been yet, but it's on my wishlist.

Thanks to all of you for taking time to respond - tried Biff's for the first time and had a wonderful meal - two of the three of us had oysters which were good - I had perfect caesar salad - crisp and fresh. They were very accommodating re sharing two mains between three of us - the bouillabaisse was outstanding as was a 35 day aged steak. Finished with cheese plate and the profiteroles plus good coffees - thumbs up to the service and the food
