I have some leftover chicken breast, which was made in the crockpot, and some fresh basil. Any ideas for a pasta recipe?
I'd do something springy and fresh. A light creamy lemony dill sauce, with shredded chicken, asparagus, peas, maybe some sauteed mushrooms, and that nice fresh basil? I could see some feta being good here, too.
Slap it in between a tortilla with some queso and cilantro and onion......toast....eat.
Stir it into an alfredo, bechamel, or marinara sauce and serve over pasta.
Chicken Salad with chicken, basil, a little bit of fresh, minced garlic, mayo, S&P, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a pinch of lemon zest?
