Legends-North Fork, LI

Does anyone know if Legends reopened yet? Their roof collasped from one of the bad snow storms right before Super Bowl Sunday and they've been working on repairing.

We went to Legends last night for the first time since the renovation. WOW!!!!
Even nicer ambience than before and the food is off the charts creative and excellent.
Tuna sashimi and succulent sweet oysters to start. I had zatar dusted lamb chops with a calamata olive glaze that knocked my socks off. Wife had "Egyptian" shrimp, very tasty and our friend had (can't remember the name) shellfish dish in a spicy red sauce. He cleaned up the plate with bread. The sauce was that good. We ate at the bar and watched the Yankees win another. Priceless all around.

That seems a whole lot more interesting than the burger and steak joint I was at a bunch of years ago!

Must have been many years ago. I.M.H.O. one of the best restaurants on the North Fork. Reasonable prices without all of the snootiness of other upscale places.

Yes, it is open and the renovation is very nice. I had a great lunch there last Friday and an okay one this Friday. It is good to have them back.
