Morristown Recommendation Please

jsfein May 19, 2011 07:40 AM

Need a recommendation for a Morristown restaurant for an early (4:30-5) dinner next week. Nothing too formal. Also need to satisfy a vegetarian in the group. Suggestions?

Urban Table has an excellent veggie burrito...even has edamame in it. I'm on an Urban Table kick right now. They have this crazy good corn salsa burger. Sounds weird, tastes great.

I really enjoyed Urban Table. Never tried their veggie burrito though.

There are quite a few ethnic restaurants in Morristown that would fill your needs. I'm just not sure how many of them serve as early as 4:30. Right near Pazzo Pazzo is Marjan, a Persian restaurant that has many vegetarian options. Across the street in the Hyatt is Mehndi, an Indian restaurant. Andaman Sea, near the train station, has good Thai food. Pamir, is an Afghan restauran on South St. that also has good food and many vegetarian options. FYI, Marjan, Andaman Sea and Pamir are all BYO.

There's an Afghan place which my folks really like -- Pamir. I don't think they have vegan stuff, but should have vegetarian food. www.pamirrestaurant.com

There's also the Indian place (Cafe India?) next door.

If Settebello's around still, they've been pretty accommodating of vegetarian diets in the past.

Being a vegetarian I can tell you I am usually pleased with Pazzo Pazzo, most Italian eateries make it pretty easy on me without having to ask for something special an dI am always able to find something here, it is informal whout being too casual and they open at 5 PM

Alos Origin is a great Thai restauant if your non-vegs can enjoy that type of food.
