Quince on Yonge near Elginton

Anyone been at Quince lately? Was there once and it was pretty good. Need to organize a party for about 16 people. Checked them on yelp and reviews were mixed.... Ideas?

Thought is to eat there and then walk down t the Gelato place as desert.

Enjoyed an impromptu solo lunch their yesterday...quite delicious.

Chicken croquettes on little puddles of dijon mustard were hot, crispy and well flavored. And the special of shrimp ravioli with ramps and wild mushrooms was light, fresh and perfectly cooked. A glass of chardonnay and a little pot of hummus with some crusty bread sealed the deal.

I'm going back soon.

I enjoy Quince, too. A bit noisy, though.. might be difficult to hear everyone in the group. Not sure if they have a party room. Across the street, Coquine has a lovely party room, too. Good food there, too, but also suffers from being noisy at peaks times.

Great idea for gelato for dessert. :)

They book the downstairs area for private parties, though I think it would be a bit huge for a group of 16.

I was there a couple months ago and we really loved it. For the price, I think its one of the best TO options.

Well have not been there recently but always found the food to be very good and fairly priced. They have a room downstairs that you can use for your party. Has its own bar, TV, etc. Jennifer, one of the owners, is very nice and I am sure you can work out anything you like with her.
