Tap Rooms in San Diego

Going to be down in San Diego next month for a visit. Does anyone have some thoughts on good tap rooms in the area? Not looking for breweries... looking for somewhere that has a large and unique set up on draft.

Some of the other places mentioned here are good, but not necessarily front-runners. The places I listed above always have a very diverse selection of beers on hand, with well-maintained tap lines.

Yes to what Josh said. To narrow it down even further, 30th Streeet in North Park/Uni Hghts is considered beer alley. Best tap rooms in the city. Blind Lady, Auld Sod for best Guinness, Tornados, Small Bar, Hamiltons. Have fun.

Interestingly enough, you found one in PB by random - just because you said "tap room". :)

If you are downtown/Gaslamp, there is Downtown Johnny Brown's. Some people might point you at the Yardhouse, but it's a chain and although it has a far more interesting beer selection than it did when it first opened, it plays it somewhat safe.

The various Pizza Ports are worth a visit, in my opinion.

What part of town are you looking at? In Clairemont/Kearny Mesa there's O'Brien's. South Park has Hamilton's, North Park has Toronado, there's the Regal Beagle in Mission Hills, etc.

Haven't made hotel plans yet so its pretty open... need to know where the best place to be is first. :)
