no Half and Half, but can I just use 1/2 cream and 1/2 whole milk?
I'm looking at a recipe for Pastry Cream that calls for half and half which I don't have. But I DO have cream and whole milk. Can I make my own half and half or should I find a new recipe that calls for either cream or whole milk?

Yes, you can substitute. The kind of cream will determine if it should be 50/50. I think this is correct. (Light cream 50/50.)
