Kranjska or Krainer sausage Eastern European Deli [Montreal TMR/VMR]

I am looking for Kranjska (Croatian) sausage also known as Krainer Wurst. Any suggestions on where to get it or Eastern European deli's would be great. I am around Decarie/40 near VMR but willing to go anywhere in Central Monreal for the right stuff.

We have come close with some smoked pork/garlic sausage at the Jean Talon Market but it was too bland and finely ground (with the consistency of a regular ballpark frank). I am looking for a more hearty version that has more texture, smoke, and garlic.

Believe it or not, I am still getting my parent's to bring a freezer pack from my childhood deli in Ontario.

The results are in. The taste off was Kranjska from Balkan, Kranjska and Debreziner from Slovenia meat, and a leftover Debreziner from the Jean Talon market.

Slovenia meat shop was the clear winner. Good amount of garlic, great texture, a touch of smoke. The only complaint was the Kranjska is a bit too salty and the Debreziner has a bit too much paprika but they were both great. I would say Debreziner is the winner.

Balkan meats did not have enough texture and lost flavour quickly.

The Debreziner from the Jean Talon market had the least texture and flavour.

Thanks for the help. If anyone knows more places, I'll be sure to try that too. In the meantime, I'll start shopping at Slovenia Meat Products (6424 Clark st one block west of St Laurent just where it comes out from the tracks south of the 40)

Slovenia meat shop has some inconsistency in the recipe. My last purchase was a bit bland and untextured. I tried Boucherie Charcuterie Slovenia on St Laurent and the Kranjska were great. The Debreziner were a bit strong but great for being Debreziners.
