New sign, banner, etc. -- it is now Ten45 Grille and the sign says "Let's Get Fired Up"

Does anyone know anything about what happened? Thank you in advance.

What type of info are you looking for? Something like where the chef of the diner went?

One thing I know for sure is they don't know how to spell "grill." A relatively simple word.

Just curious -- was the place sold, renovated/new theme, etc.?

Good to know. Thanks. I went there once for breakfast -- it was a diner. Plain, simple, edible, etc. Eggs, toast, home fries, like I said, edible. I don't really go to diners for dinner -- breakfast and lunch on occasion.

As far as how they spell the word -- Grill or Grille -- doesn't matter to me about right and wrong. To each their own, Capital Grille or Tiff's Bar and Grill -- so be it. LOL.

Your tolerance for ignorance and/or stupidity and/or attempts to make a restaurant sound fancier via its spelling is much higher than mine.

It speaks to a restaurant's aspirations when they make mistakes or decisions like this.

Like you said, it's personal. I don't know that this is truly reflective of a restaurant's aspirations, nor indicitive of any global thinking (or anything else for that matter). Could it be? Sure, like you said, ignorance or stupidity. We've all heard the story of a mistake that no one caught or that someone caught and they kept it. Yes, could be. On the other hand, it might not be and it could be intentional and reflective of nothing. How important is it? I guess could or could not be.

Hey, if soneone goes -- maybe they can ask. LOL.

Good point though that it might meaning something.

Is it closed on Monday's? I'm "chomping at the bit" to go there...

In another thread, poster really blasted the new place. Why can't anyone leave a diner alone? It was fine the way it was.

There's no reason to go to a diner today in NJ-- there's just about always a better alternative--
