...are all on heavy rotation in my kitchen.

What's on your cooking soundtrack? :)

Modern Jazz Quartet, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Jacques Loussier, Mark Whitfield, Bela Fleck,
Al DiMeola, Oscar Peterson, Roy Hargrove, Tangerine Dream, Joe Satriani, and anything else where there's no competition between a yowling vocalist whose words are unintelligible and the 3rd rate instrumental group abusing their instruments.

That makes for comestibles that are easily digested without having to resort to the use of antacids.

The Rolling Stones and Elvis Costello. They just seem to belong in my kitchen--but only while cooking and not while eating.

I like vocals when cooking and not so much when eating. :)

Agreed.....vocals when cooking...not eating....Gypsy Kings are on quite often in my house during dinner prep and aperitiff time!
