Bachelor party weekend in Scottsdale

About a dozen of us are coming to Scottsdale in early June for a bachelor party. Any tips for food, drinking and fun in Scottsdale for a group of guys 30+?

Try City Hall Steakhouse for the big meal, best red meat in town, high end steakhouse prices.

For pizza and wine, try Grazie on Main and Goldwater, some of the waitresses hang out at the W.

for burgers and fun a little more casual, try RnR on Scottsdale rd on 2nd. There are several nightclubs right around your hotel for good bachelor party festivities, Axis/Radius, Pussycat, and Jackrabbit all have great late night cocktails, but not much for food. The concierge at the W will steer you right as well.

I think Durant's would be a good choice. Old school steakhouse with great cocktails. Think Mad Men.

Totally second Durant's...classic old school drinks, steakhouse and the beloved relish tray!

J&G steakhouse at the Phoenician resort sitting in the bar/patio for drinks and app's.
Hit up Carolina's for some Mex for that wicked hangover..super divey and good..

you need to be alot more specific

how long are you here? prices you are willing to spend? where you are staying? what kind of money you want to spend? what type of food are you looking for?

We're there Thurs-Sun am. We've got some money to spend and we're staying at the W. I'll leave the food up to the community. But let's say we're willing to go for a big dinner on Sat. night while Thurs and Friday will leave dinner to be a little less grand.

        Does that help?

I'd think that Cowboy Ciao would fill the bill. It's a tad loud to begin with, the food and wine are great, plus it's not THAT far from you.

There are several other restaurants, where the "scene" might be more "happening," but most do not deliver on the food.

I'd typify the prices as upper-middle, or lower-upper range, but much will depend on the exact dishes ordered, plus the wines. There is also a busy bar there, but I cannot comment on it, as I am an avowed wino.

          Good luck, and enjoy,

          Hunt

If you are looking for the scene Mastro's City Hall is close by and would fit the bill perfectly. If i had to choose between Cowboy Ciao and City Hall for food alone i would pick Cowboy Ciao 10 out of 10 times and you will come out a bit cheaper vs City Hall.
With a bachelor party and the food is not the only consideration - if you want the scene and quality food go for city hall if you want amazing food that is unique and good wine and drinks go with Cowboy Ciao, or do CC friday and CH Saturday :)

Sushi Roku is connected to the W might be a good option for Saturday is expensive - however the W rooftop is usualy bumping on Saturdays, however if the weather is too hot it could be dead - if that happens or you want away from the hotel Revolver is a good option close by

for lowkey i would say skip RnR (food is bad - drinks are fine) a block or less away is Daily Dose, good breakfast lunch spot happy hour daily from 4-8 and for hangovers they have breakfast nachos and a Hangover Sandwich (yes that is what it is called) i prefer the breakfast nachos when the need arises :) - If you need hair of the dog they have a drink called Dr Hendricks (gin), that will get you going if you dont like bloody mary's - also make a good burger

If you are looking for some good top shelf drinks: Trader Vics isnt far and Mabel on Main's are both good - TV are tiki drinks and great - Mabel's is more classic cocktails with top shef ingredients and a heavy pour -- so cliff notes of this thought rum = TV
            gin = MoM

            TV fav drink: Navy Grog
Mabel on Main: Nolet Gin with some muddled sugar and mint splash of club soda

I've only been to City Hall once, and must come clean, in that I am never looking for a "scene." Even cleaner, I would probably not know it, should I be in the middle of it, but that goes to show you how old I am.

I did try to channel my youth, and bachelor parties, but that was so very long ago, that I just gave up.
