Two Days in Tokyo end of May--need recs for local authentic eats :)

We will be in Tokyo with a group but will have 2 days at the end of the trip in end of May to ourselves.

Staying at the Granbell Shibuya but am open to anywhere we can get to via taxi or train :)

Would love recs on anything from

--yummy bakeries

--shabu shabu

--delicious sushi/sashimi place

--izakaya style small plates

**Anything else I may have missed that is not as easily found in the U.S.

Generally prefer small homely local places but am willing to spend too if its like an amazing kaiseki type place as well :)

Obviously we've covered your requests a million times over here and your best strategy is to put together some basic research and query the board for opinions. But seeing your hotel location, I'm reminded of a pretty decent ramen joint called Sakurazaka (same name as the neighborhood) which is a stone's throw from your hotel. Very good tsukemen. It's small and I guess I would call it "homely" , at least for a place one might spend 15 minutes total in.

Here's an easy list to begin with.. definite by place to visit :

Asakusa : Shabushabu Imahan bekkan (little alley under the red wood boutique) for a choice of quality of beef, of menu,... an exemple ? The menu at 2,625.yens for shabu-shabu.

On the 1st floor of the Shinagawa JR station, there is a small Japanese bakery MITSURU with amazing 'kakuni-mustard-bread'(=stewed pork cubes
        )http://r.tabelog.com/tokyo/A1314/A131403/13022775/

Ginza Sushi Ichi : a fantasy is on sushi for lunch, and set menu lunchs are going to be colored with communication with a charming wine sommelier

And Shibuya at night for a vacation!!! An Izakaya, true one, the goma-ya with his specialities on sesame
(=direction bunkamura, on a corner on the left, on the basement). For the first plate order, try the goma-chahan, salad vegetable with sesame, half rare steak of maguro(=tuna), gomatofu,...and after you will have to point your finger.

Mix it... There is so much.
