Wednesday dinner in Nice with a large group

I've looked around on the board, but I haven't seen anything about where a large group would be good. I'm going with 10 people, most of whom haven't been to Nice, so an ideal place would be low key, good food, and perhaps one in which we don't need a reservation, since I have no idea how long the group will take walking around.

I know those specifications are difficult, so a place needing a reservation is fine too. We're staying at a hotel on the Promenade des Anglais, so ideally the restaurant wouldn't be in say... Cimiez. This request is kind of a nightmare, I know, so any help would be amazing. Thank you!

Keisuke Matsushima's Table d'Hôte is set up for this. See http://www.keisukematsushima.com/info...
I have also seen large tables at L'Aphrodite.
Both restaurants can offer you Provençale cuisine, which might be appropriate. You would have to set it up in advance.
