Where Y'at Cafe? Down by the Gretna courthouse by the river, dawlin'

Everything is fresh at this comfortable place on the Westbank, for breakfast, lunch, and Sunday brunch. The side dishes run the gamut of hot and cold Louisiana favorites such as creamy corn macque choux, baked macaroni and cheese or cold macaroni salad. The Taste of Old Gretna is a choice of three delights plus French bread for $7.25. The cornbread dressing with gravy is a worthy choice!

Special treat today: Shrimp Fettuccine, perfectly seasoned.

The most consistent restaurant IMHO on the WB is the Red Maple on Lafayette in Gretna. Great service too

Plus it has that Oceans Eleven (the original Rat Pack one) kinda vibe to the interiors.

I've eaten both places, and Where Y'at gets my vote. Red Maple is good, but the Y'at edges them out. Great pancakes too.
