Barcelona vs Madrid
Hi, I am staying 7 nights in each city and was looking for suggestions on what I should focus on for each city. For example, which city is better for molecular gastronomy, traditional food, tapas, paella, etc. Any must try dishes/places in either city?
Thanks

Madrid:
Jamon Iberico de Bellotas from jabugo (AKA Jamon Jabugo) at Museo del Jamon or Meson 5J
Cocido madrileño (chickpea & meat stew)
Churros con chocolate (a great breakfast after "killing the night away" at the bars/clubs/terrazas in Madrid) at San GinesBarcelona:
Navajas (razor clams) at El Merendero de la Mari
Agree that Barcelona's molecular scene is more avant-garde than Madrid'sGood paella can be had in either city.
