Good, Casual Restaurants in PEI?

We are traveling to PEI this summer (late June - early July) with our 5 and 2 year old boys and would love some recommendations on casual restaurants/diners/roadside stands! My husband is a chef and we love seafood, so we want to know about the hidden gems and local favorites. Also, any tips on markets, farmstands, and seafood vendors would be appreciated as we are camping and will be preparing our own meals as well. Thanks!

The Water Prince Corner Shoppe is a wonderful place to get fresh seafood, both to eat in or to take out. They also sell fresh seafood, shellfish etc to prepare at home. Shane, the owner is great!
The Daniel B Brickhouse is a new spot, in the former Off Broadway location, not sure how kid friendly it is, but most people in PEI will go out of their way to ensure that you are made feel welcome!

The Riverview Market in Charlottetown is a great place to pick up veggies and meat if you are camping. They have a lot of great homemade pickled goodies and jams and whatnot, too. You should also head to the Farmer's Market in Charlottetown. Keep an eye open for Medallion Smoked Salmon there. They will sell the salmon itself, but also sell delicious bagel sandwiches. I love their smoked fish.

You can also head to the wharf in North Rustico and buy some lobster/fish at the little market there. And the Blue Mussel Cafe up the wharf a little bit is really nice. A little overpriced, maybe, but really good food.

I'm a big fan of Frosty Treat in Kensington. It's dairy bar that also has typical roadside deep fried fare. I prefer their soft-serve to the ice cream at Cow's. It's a great place to go with kids, too. They have a lot of outdoor seating and it's not far from the Haunted Mansion which is kind of a hilarious kiddie attraction.

What part(s) of PEI will you be spending time in?
