Small-Medium Wedding Reception-Outdoor Garden?

Hi Board!

I have been searching endlessly for an outdoor garden area with a plated or buffet dinner for 50-70 people. I don't want to go SUPER expensive. Chicago & Western Suburbs is the location choice. As far as food, I'm open to Italian, French, American, ect. A romantic private garden is what I would love. Any suggestions? I emailed Piccolo Sogno today. Any Western Suburb suggestions, it would be easier because we are getting married there. I tried Carlucci's in Downers Grove, but they allow only "access" to the garden with a huge charge.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Perfect location for a garden reception. They have many garden parties and are not overly expensive. http://www.courtrights.com/09/main.html They are located in Willow Springs at 8989 Archer Ave. Great food with a French trained chef. Tell them Ray and Fred sent you.

      Have you look at Garfield Park Conservatory? Their rates don't seem terribly expensive and then you can choose from a fairly extensive choice of caterers.

        I will check that out, I really wanted a "one stop shop" that will supply the setup, food, plates, ect. - but I'll look it up! Thanks!

        In the city Bistro Campagne is lovely and while your crowd may overwhelm its outdoor spaces you can do an indoor/outdoor thing.

          Yes, I LOVED them - it was my first choice. I actually just received a reply from them this morning that it's a 20 person max :( I was SO disappointed. We want the entire event outside (if it rains, we obviously would have to go to plan B with the facility),
