chip stands in the Toronto area? If so....where? LOL~ I live in the Peel Region but would be willin' to drive anywhere in the GTA for some great fries from a chip stand...

Well, I was at Toronto City Hall this afternoon for a ceremony and wanted to have a fix of poutine. Went to the blue chip truck, Mr. Tasty, and was most impressed. Fresh cut fries and squeaky curds! The wife had a small order of fries and these were perfect.

There a chip truck in Halton at the corner of Trafalgar and 10th Sideroad. Great hand-cut fries and gravy here.

There is one in Oakville on Lakeshore just east of Bronte on the south side. I'm not sure it's open yet but perhaps some one will reply for that aea.

Cherry Beach has one that's actually really good. Couldn't tell you when it opens for the season.

It was there about 2 weeks ago. Sadly we had already eaten so didn't have anything but it's on our list.

There are a couple in front of Nathan Phillip Square. There is also one that I really like at in the Canadian Tire plaza at Laird and Eglinton.
