My favorite wings in the area would have to be served at Victory Brewing Company in Downing town.
Whats your favorite spot? And would anyone who has had wings at Victory like to challenge my claim that they are the best?

  1. What do you like about them? An open ended statement like yours is not going to get much of a response ...

Victory's wings are moist and crispy. I suspect that they first bake them, then fry the wings for a short period of time. Their sauce is really what makes these wings awesome. Their sauce includes their own hop devil bbq sauce. I have not been able to exactly pin point the rest of their sauce but i believe it also includes blue cheese dressing, Worcestershire saucer, and a traditional hot sauce based wing sauce. Their wings have a bit of a kick but are not too spicy. I find myself traveling to downingtown bi-weekly to get a fix.

    2. I'll take the road less traveled and put in my mention for Korean Wings at Meritage. They aren't your typical buffalo style, but man are they good!

      1. I really love the smoked wings fro Sweet Lucy's Barbecue. They are very moist but firm but not crisp.

Two versions of wings that I like in the suburbs are:

the rosemary roasted garlic wings at Theresa's in wayne. Not only are they oven done, they are really good.

Capone's in East Norriton on Monday's does wings in their Bee sting sauce. Hot wings with a touch of honey that are finished under the broiler which carmelizes them. Very good.

Honorable mention to the oven roasted wings at Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza. Pizza is hit or miss but the wings are consistently good.

        2. Curran's in the northeast has my favorite wings.

          1. I am not a wing expert, but I love the wings at Dienner's in the Reading Terminal.

            1. Monk's in CC...their 'Spanish Flies' wings. Large, crisp exterior, tasty sauce...and a burn that'll make the hair on your neck stand up..and lasts long after the wing is gone..

              1. I haven't tried the wings at Victory but I'll have to do so the next time I'm there. My favorite wings as of late are at Tavern on the Hill in Chestnut Hill. They're obviously grilled at some point in the cooking process because they come out with grill marks on them, and the sauce is different than a typical buffalo sauce. Their sauce is more of a darker brown and has more of a richer taste than buffalo sauce. I'd describe it as a BBQ sauce but it isn't as sweet as most BBQ sauces and they also have a BBQ version on the menu which is different.
