Bring your own wine in Santa Monica

Looking for nice dinner spots in Santa Monica area that allow you to bring your own bottle of vino - corkage fee expected. Open to all types of cuisine & price ranges. A weekend getaway for me and the hub.

  1. Hillstone (fka Houston's) Santa Monica. No corkage fee. Cha Cha Chicken, also no corkage - not sure that it qualifies as nice, but it is fun.

Any Hillstone Restaurant (Banderas, R+D, Houstons, Hillstone). Some restaurants have hefty corkage, if they have pride in their cellar. IT really depends what restaurants you're considering...

    2. you can pick almost any place in the area ...... most of the places in the area will be ok with "byo"

      1. Manchego on Main St is BYOB

2510 Main St, Santa Monica, CA 90405

        Main St Cafe
450 Main St, El Segundo, CA 90245

        1. If you are willing to pay corkage, there are only a handful of restaurants in all of Los Angeles who do NOT allow you to bring your own wine. So basically you can go anywhere you want in Santa Monica.

Giorgio Baldi is one of the few restaurants that I have heard of that does NOT allow corkage. Josie has free corkage on Mondays.

          1. La Cachette Bistro, where I had a fantastic meal last night, has $1 corkage on Sundays ($15 normally).

            La Cachette
Little Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90067
