The Search for LBI Homemade Ice Cream

Does it exist? The Arctic brand is really delicious, but we are so used to the transcendent homemade ice-cream on Cape Cod and were hoping we'd missed a place down on the island that had it(we are also willing to drive off LBI for up to around 20 mins)

I agree. So far Dairy Queen is as good as it gets. This is a big opportunity for someone to open up a gourmet ice cream shop. Someone please respond to EMG48!

I THINK Barry's Do Me A Flavor Ice Cream in Beach Haven is homemade? I could be wrong, but they are very good nonetheless.
