ISO Live Music & at least decent foods.... HELP!!!

we are heading out this saturday and looking for a place between redondo beach - newport beach to listen to live music, eat & drink. Prefer the music to be either oldies rock or something that you cant help but smile listening to. doesnt have to be jazz (going to jazz fest next mo) but something!??! :) again, the better the food the better it looks to me but our friends are happy with great entertainment. looking to go semi early for din. :)
