Spicy Dishes in Pittsburgh
Hello Everyone,
I go to eat one of my favorite sandwiches at one of my local establisments outside the Pittsbrugh region. Its a veal sandwich with banna pepper and spicy red sauce... It is amazing, espeically when the pepers come hot. This always makes me think of a great thai stir fry i once had in SC that was spicy, yet amazing.
What are some great Spicy dishes in the Pittsburgh area, any type is fine by me.

I'm sure there are other places that do this, but at Apizza Badamo, Anthony grows and pickles his own hot and very flavorful cherry peppers. Definitely worth the $0.50 upcharge on any of his sandwiches, especially the eggplant (he's one of very few who serves unbreaded, unpeeled eggplant).

I love spicy food also. Two that come to mind are the chorizo sandwich at the Franklin Inn, in Franklin Park. It's a great lunch special and comes with peppers and onions on a hoagie roll. Another that I like is at Gab 'n Eat, my favorite diner. It is a hot sausage with egg, cheese, peppers & onions on italian toast. Neither of these places are "fine dining" options, just good food.
