I saw them in the Walmart freezer section 3 weeks ago. I think they would still be carrying them.

I bought a package of the double caramel at the Loblaw Great Food near Burnhamthorpe and the 427. Honestly, they were surprisingly mediocre -- the ice cream is standard ice cream bar stuff (aside from the flecks of vanilla to try to fool you into thinking you're eating something fancy), the caramel was generically sweet without any real depth of flavour, and the chocolate honestly reminded me of the stuff in a Rolo chocolate cone (okay, it's a bit better than that, but that was the first thing my mind went to as I was eating it).

If this were the latest Nestle product I'd say it was fine, but for a supposedly upscale dessert with a price to match, it's pretty terrible.

How did they compare with the Haagen Dazs version?

I'll admit that it's been a little while since I've had a Haagen Dazs bar -- from memory I'd say that Magnum is a small step below Haagen Dazs in quality.

Well, who is going to buy that? I find the President's Choice frozen bars to be quite good also, so I'm sure they're at least better value than the Magnum bar.

They had hundreds of them in Bayview Loblaws.

Haagen Daz is way better. I was curious to try them so I bought a box as it was something new. I didn't really like them and they were actually in my freezer for a good month before I finished them all... Haagen Daz would have been lucky to last a week!

I thought it was just ordinary as well however I just had the white chocolate with vanilla bean ice cream and need to admit I am not a huge fan of white chocolate. I will give it another go soon.
