Caterer/BBQ chef westchester

looking for a caterer for a small party in westchester. Was hoping to have a BBQ chef and come and cook. Want something casual.

    I just got two ads today:

    Lange's of Scarsdsale does BBQ catering (they sent a mailer about it) 472-0330
    City Barbecue Catering has an ad in Westchester Essentials (http://www.citybbqnyc.com

    )

    I have no idea if either's BBQ is any good, though Lange's in general has a good reputation around here (Edgemont) and they cater a lot of our school sports team events. City BBQ advertise that they specialize in off-site barbecues.

        Have used both Great American and Powell's and liked both. Food from GAB was a little tastier, but also a little pricier.

          I just want to add I will be sitting down with the man of all smoked up and I will be reviewing his Grilled wings and I will be trying his Baby Back Ribs as well so I will have the review up this weekend. www.allsmokedup.com

              These folks are fantastic, went to a party in Nyack last year that they did. They go anywhere in a 40 mile radius of NYC.

                Not Westchester but Big W BBQ in Wingdale does catering. Best brisket north of the Mason-Dixon. Ribs and chicken are great as well.

                  I second pabboy's BIG W reco if he's available. All the other places I have used or been to events have fairly big minimums. 50 people or more. I have never heard of Taylored menus. Is Gersky's still around? They were always nice and flexible in regards to minimums...

                    I have used all of the following 3: Gordo's (Hawthorne), Great American BBQ (White Plains), and Taylored Menus (Pleasantville). My favorite was Taylored Menus - but all good. I think the smallest # of people we had was 40 - but I am sure they will do party for any #.
