food vaccum sealer recommendations?

I finally have enough freezer space to really go to town so want to buy some sort of vaccum sealer system to store leftovers and cuts of meat etc. Anyone have one they love? they hate? Thanks!

I've had a FoodSaver for about 10 years now and I wouldn't be without it. This is probably one of the best on the market. Costco has a "package deal" where you buy the unit complete with a couple of other items like canisters, etc. They also come with rolls of wrap. This will be one of the most used items in your kitchen. I NEVER put meat, fish, sausages etc. in my freezer without vacuum sealing it first. When you take the item out of the freezer 8 or 9 months later, it looks and tastes exactly like it did the day you bought it. I tried a couple of other brands of sealers and took them back. The FoodSaver is a keeper in my opinion.
Just a tip, when you buy it pop the extra few buck for one that has a cutter. You won't be sorry.

+1 on the Foodsaver. We've had our doe the last 5 years and we use it for freezing raw foods as well as freezing prepared foods.
