Do Good Breakfast Tacos Exist in Vegas????

As a fairly recent transplant from Austin, Tx. we are missing our daily fix of cheap, great, tasty breakfast tacos. Nothing fancy, bacon and egg our standard. We've tried local places like Roberto's Taco Shop (decent rolled tacos and specials but horrible breakfast burritos) and a couple of others that I can't remember the name of but can't find anything resembling what we are used to. If anyone is from Austin our favorite was Vasquez Tacos on Breaker, a little but growing rapidly hole in the wall that makes them all day long and we never had a bad one. We live in Summerlin and would like to find something close. Any help foodies??

  1. Jules,

I am another recent Austin transplant with the same question, but no answers yet. Let me know if you find anything on par with Taco Shak or Rudy's.

I'm not from Austin so I can't compare them to the places you mentioned, but have eaten breakfast tacos on two occasions at the mexican restaurant located in the Miracle Mile shops at Planet Hollywood. Can't remember the name of it (Cantina something or other ???) but they were very good and extremely cheap. They offer choices corn or flour tortillas and several salsas.
I made a special long early morning walk last time for them and will be back again at the end of July.

    2. Thought I'd revive this post of mine and see if anyone has any suggestions 4 years later. I'm still on the hunt.......

      1. It's a hole-in-the-wall joint and true Mexican food. It's clean and they have an extensive menu. You won't find a better place. It's on the NW corner of Jones and Charleston
