Which bus for Cuban in Union City?

I want to come over from Queens to take a look at Union City and maybe sample a Cuban place or two. What are the best buses to take from the Port Authority to get to the central commercial area (is it Bergenline Ave. ?) in UC to stroll around and find a place to eat? I know if I ask one of the customer service people at the Port Authority I'll get some attitudinous response .... Thanks.

  1. 190. Get off immediately at the service road on Park Ave in Union City. Walk west to Bergenline. You can take vans on Bergenline to travel the length north/south.
This is the link to Nj Transit:

La Gran Via is at 39th and Bergenline. My personal favorite.

Not all of the 190s stop in Union City, best to scrutinize the schedule.

    2. Take the #128 to 75th Street, and walk 1 block to Broadway. This is my absolute favorite Cuban in Hudson County:

      Rumba Cubana.

Retro pricing, unbelievable value, fabulous food. Not a dive, either. Nice ambience.
