simple syrup with Splenda

Can you made simple syrup with Splenda?

    It'll basically be sweetened water but not anywhere close to syrupy.

      I think that was my question. It's not even a true simple syrup. 2 tsp lemon zest 2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup water ,1 cup lemon juice boiled for 30 seconds. It's a lemon aid concentrate. I can have/ don't need that much sugar. Jerry

        I hate splenda, but it dissolves easily so no boiling necessary. but I have simply learned to enjoy lemonade with just a little honey or sugar. try it!

        You shouldn't need to, as Splenda easily dissolves.
