Tonight - very quiet/Rittenhouse

I need somewhere in the Rittenhouse area for a meeting late tonight. I'm assuming a bar, because we're looking at probably 10-midnightish - it would be nice if food is an option, but I'm more concerned that: A) it's quiet, for a serious conversation, and B) it doesn't feel overly romantic. As quiet and romantic tend to go together, I'm at a bit of a loss. Ideas?

Just a few blocks to the Four Seasons Swan Lounge and Bar. Quiet, well not loud usually. Noted as serious cocktail bars are the Ranstead Room and Franklin Mortgage, some might say romantic but I do not believe your business associate would get the wrong idea.

I would check out the bar they put in Lacroix, or the one downstairs at Le Bec Fin. I was thinking hotel bar, but so many of them have pulsing music these days. Maybe XIX?

You can sit in the bar area at Dandelion, it's not loud.

That would be my suggestion as well. The multiple small rooms keep it from getting too loud, at least upstairs (I haven't sat downstairs in the main bar there yet). And the food is very good.
