Best Bar Food Option

Hi all,
My boss is a "sit at the bar and watch the game" type, I'm more of a "eat the best food I can when I'm in NYC type." Can someone recommend a good option to satisfy us both? Preferable location is around the Waldorf. I'm thinking upscale restaurant that has a bar with TVs. Thanks!

    1. Most upscale restaurants in NYC don't have TVs in the bar as many patrons here find it a turn off.

I'm thinking a steakhouse, burger or BBQ place would work best for you unless you specifically go to a sports bar. Also, will your boss watch any ol' game on TV or is there a specific team he wants to watch?

Try Royale, Blue Smoke, Bill's Bar & Burger, or one of the steakhouses listed here:

I'd definitely call around and ask what games they may plan to be showing, if the sound will be on/off, etc. if that matters to you guys.

We'll definitely want to watch the Boston Celtics game (not much hope of watching the Red Sox even though they're on ESPN tonight). Thanks for the tips!

So far based on location and everything Primehouse is the #1 candidate!

        2. If you're down with Korean food, Baden Baden New York (aka BBNY) is a cool "hidden" (2nd floor) beer hall in K-Town. Good food - the Baden Baden Chicken is great, as are some of the more interesting items (pig's foot terrine, sea snails, etc) that might appeal to you. There are a number of TVs over the bar, the staff mostly speak English so you could ask what games they're playing.
