Brussels questions

Landing in Brussels at 8am on 5/19 after two very long flights, and wondering:

1. Am I out of season for mussels?
2. Any thoughts on any of these restaurants for lunch: Viva M' Boma, Aux Armes de Bruxelles, La Roue d'Or, L'Achepot (we love offal), and Vincent?
3. While awaiting pick-up from a friend at 8pm that night, anything interesting for two tired people to do near Central Station? Perhaps a relaxed place to sit for coffee, as drinking will be bad for us that day?

2. SKIP at all costs Aux Armes. Vincent's is pretty good. Not sure where you are staying, so other recs will depend on that.
3. I am only a visitor too, so I will let other member's of the board answer.
