Seeking a restaurant in Austin with both a good beer selection and a tasty macaroi and cheese
I know it's an odd request, but I've got family coming to visit and I'm hoping we can find the perfect place for one of our nights out. My brother and sister-in-law love good beers and my nephews are obsessed with macaroni and cheese. Are there any places perfect for both? Thanks for any help!

Woodland has pretty good mac n' cheese. They also have some nice beers on tap (Live Oaks - I think Big Bark, Pilz and Hefeweizen, plus maybe some other brands?), plus good cocktails.
The food's generally good there. It's nothing that's gonna blow your mind, but it's tasty and a good atmosphere. I recommend the pepper crust burger with some of their good onion rings...

re: danny_w
The mac and cheese was excellent at Cover 3 the one time I had it. Funny, but I went once and the TVs were way too low. I couldn't hear a damn thing, in fact. For obvious reasons, they are much louder when there is a televised sporting event (at least one would hope so). Decent beer and wine selection as I recall.
