Unable to upload photos

I have a bunch of photos I want to upload from a get together. I originally exported them as jpgs from Adobe Lightroom 3.4, a professional software program. CHowhound kept rejecting them saying the first was might be corrupt.
So I went through and resaved them using Corel paintshop Pro X3. Same issue.
How do I get the photos to upload?

  1. I was trying to upload photos for my post on a gathering at the Santa Fe Hotel in Reno. It won't allow me to upload any photos into that post, saying the photos could not be validated. I went to the place page for the Santa Fe Hotel and was able to upload a photo there with no problems. It's the group photo.

So I was able to upload a photo to that restaurant place but I can't add the same photo to this thread.

Well, I'll have to play with it more, but it does indeed look like they fixed the photo uploade for the restaurant record.

Let me try to upload a photo here and see if I have the same problem ... not to be unsympathetic, but thank you computer gods because if I has a problem uploading to posts like you have I would have been unahppy.

Maybe it is having a problem with your browser? I'm using IE and not having the problem.

Thanks, I tried another browser and it didn't work. It doesn't make sense it would allow me to upload to one part of Chowhound but not another, unless I've reached the limit on photos I can upload.

The photo upload functions on the two halves of the site are probably totally different -- I'm not 100% sure of that, the code might have been normalized somewhere along the line, but they were originally developed separately on separate platforms.

Can you email me the photos you're having trouble with at jacquilynne.schlesier@cbs.com and I'll see if I can figure something out?
