Paul's Pasta - Groton, CT

Just had a great lunch at Paul's Pasta in Groton, CT. Paul's is located in a funky storefront overlooking the Thames River and was a fun place for lunch.

We four all had different entrees - all with absolutely fresh, store-made pastas. We started wuth a bowl of great marinated vegetables - and then on to the main events, which ranged from lasagna, to diablo mac and cheese, a chicken and pasta dish, and shrimp primavera.
Paul's also has a great dessert menu and portions allowed for sharing.

Pasta salads and a variety of fresh pastas are available retail.

Highly recommended!

I always like Paul's Pasta. Not a fan of their red sauce. But I love the Chicken Diablo sauce, a dijon mustard and lemon based sauce. And usually their seafood based specials I like.

One warning with Paul's Pasta. They ARE a great deal, and consequently it's often difficult to get a table. I don't think they take reservations, so you might want to be forewarned that you may have to wait for a table. Best thing is to go a little early or a little late for a meal. I think on weekends they might be open all day Sat and Sun--check this if you're interested.

They are good and the prices are quite resonable. Nice when it is warm enough to eat on the back deck.
