Looking for suggestions for a fun bday dinner with 6 adults, 1 10yo, two toddlers. Nice enuf for occasion. Something different.

What does "nice enuf" mean to you - nice compared to what? How long can the toddlers sit still? Do they need high chairs? What is your budget per person, including tax, tip and beverages? When is this for?

nice enough for a 40th birthday. nice decor, clean. not a diner. good food and drinks for adults. for example we took our 10 yo to teppanyaki up here in westchester for his bday and she liked the idea of it but does not want that exactly. toddlers don't sit still long. looking for something to keep them amused. yes on high chairs. not sure of budget would say moderate. early saturday evening.

What does "moderate" mean to you? What cuisines are you interested (or not)? What part of town? Also you will need to make a reservation for this large a party and specify that you need two high chairs. i would recommend that you go very early. Perhaps Otto would work.
