Hand Pulled Noodles, Sunset Park Brooklyn

  • 3

I been really getting into Hand Pulled Noodles. My favorite by far is in Manhattan, Xi'an Famous foods.

However I also really like the place called Hand Noodle Soup inc at 5417 8th Ave in sunset park.

Like most of these places, its crowded, quick, and has pretty much every variety of soup and fried hand pulled noodles. What keeps me coming back, besides people watching, is the consistency of the food.

Here is a kid learning the art of eating hand pulled noodles

  1. I also tried Lanzhao on 60th right near the corner with 8th ave that had gotten a lot of positive reviews on this board.

I have to say it was not as good as Hand Noodle Soup place on 5417 and 8th.

I wanted to like it more, everyone was so nice there. Still, everything had a bit less bite to it.

    1. Do they make broad or just thin hand pulled noodles there ?

Thin. I prefer the broad hand ripped or hand cut noodles that you get at places like Xi'an Famous foods (both in flushing and manhattan), but have not found anything like that in Sunset park.

If anyone knows of a place would be happy to hear about it.
