mothers day brunch
we live in west la and are looking for a killer brunch. any ideas
Mondrian Hotel - Asia de Cuba great French Toast, Enchiladas with Tomatillo sauce, Roti with smoked salmon and caviar, etc.
Where did you end up and how was it? We went over to the Santa Monica Umami (at Fred Segal 500 5th Street, Santa Monica 90401) about 2 PM and, while it was doing very good business we waited only 5 minutes for a table. The waitress was great and the food was very good (triple pork burger for me). Our son ordered a smattering of sides (smushed, tots, onion rings) and we all shared (the woman of the hour/'day, myself and our son's girlfriend). Very nice and they have such a big, free non valet parking lot it makes it very easy.
