Cheap Eats on Long Beach Island

Off to LBI before Memorial Day and looking for cheap eats! Breakfast isn't such an issue (tea and something light would be ok) but lunch and dinner are more of a concern. Under $10 (or about) for each of us, not including tip and drinks would be really great!

We're into pretty much any cuisine, just no fast-food. Hoping for fresh seafood but maybe that's a stretch?

I've looked at other posts here on LBI but I don't see much indication as to how much things cost - though I remember the chicken place (or was it called the egg? Something like that) was very inexpensive. Food was pretty mediocre though...

Uncle Willie's has AWESOME pancakes, ust down the street from the Egg place in Beach Haven

Any other ideas anyone? I know there's a lot more to the island than just Beach Haven, which is where I'm more familiar with.

Lex Mex in Ship Bottom may fit the bill. Also Tiki Taco in Beach Haven. Or the Holiday Snack Bar in Beach Haven. Or the Clam Shack in Beach Haven. You could probably do Panzone's in Beach Haven for that price. Breakfast take out bagels from Bagel Eddie's in Ship Bottom are excellent, but a tad pricey. Scojo's in Surf City is very good for BLD and very inexpensive.

Thanks - the diner looks like a great place for bkfst/lunch. I have heard about Boulevard Clams but after looking at the website, some of it does seem out of our price range. On the other hand the apps and sandwiches are pretty much under $10 so maybe we could stick with a bit of that...
