Relatives from out of town

Help! We have relatives coming into SF airport on Sunday morning before they head off to Monterrey for the week. We can meet with them for a few hours. I need suggestions as to any place relatively close to he airport to go out to eat that won't be total chaos (Mother's Day) and take in to account they have a 3 year old and a baby. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  1. What time do they arrive? If you are early enough--say before 10:30--and they like Chinese food, there are several places near the airport: HK Flower Lounge, Asian Pearl, etc. that you might be able to get into.

One place that is probably not full--they've been open for only 3 months--is Café Tradition, a French-Morroccan place in San Mateo we recently visited (http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/782283) and contemplated reserving a table at for Mothers' Day. (We opted for Zibbibo in Palo Alto because my young nieces might prefer something less exotic.)

Thanks for the suggestions. I will check to see which one sounds good to them. I just am not familiar with what there is close to the airport. Thanks again.

I am finding I like Zibbibo for corporate events in PA. There's a nice combo of different spaces available, food, eagerness in the late afternoon, and alcohol choices. Good stuff.
