"Family style" Italian in Calgary?

Can anyone recommend a place, preferably inner city, that does family-style Italian dishes, or large portions to share, like Dolce Sapori? (But is not actually Dolce Sapori because they're booked on the night I wanted). Something fresh and simple, not e.g. Chianti.
Thanks!

Dolce Sapori, the top floor of Pulcinella, is an Italian restaurant, owned by the same people as Pulcinella, and they do family style dining. Its very good.

I've had pretty good family style Italian at Il Giardino on 17th Ave. Call ahead and they will be able to help you out for sure.

      - But to be sure this is not quite the same calibre as Mercato.

I've done family style at Mercato as well and it is pretty good.

I thought that Mercato was excellent for family-style dishes. The anti pasto, flank, and pasta...all o-m-g worthy :)
